The responsibilities of the Board of Directors shall include:
A. Provide leadership, support, and promote awareness of the MPCC.
B. Champion sustainability of the MPCC.
C. Serve as spokesperson for the MPCC upon request by the chair.
D. Review the mission, vision, and guiding principles to ensure that they are in alignment
with the implementation phase of the MPCC and its Initiative.
E. Define the appropriate structure for the MPCC to assure that the strategic plan is
implemented.
F. Take responsibility for updating the strategic plan.
G. Foster collaborative relationships that will encourage stakeholders to undertake
responsibility for implementation of strategies in the PCI strategic plan.
H. Seek to recognize and include other organizational efforts in Michigan related to the
Primary Care Initiative.
I. Elect an Executive Committee.
J. Form standing and ad hoc committees as needed.
K. Determine criteria for membership of the Steering Committee and the types and
categories of membership for the Consortium.
L. Attend all Steering Committee meetings.
M. May establish membership dues
