 Workgroup Objective

To assist the informed selection and effective implementation of HIT in primary care practices, including patient/population registries, E-prescribe applications or functionality, certified EHR functionality, and high quality/certified decision support systems.

HIT Implementation Handbook

The handbook, targeted for release in Spring 2011, is a concise guide for those assisting practices implement electronic medical record systems and attain meaningful use.  The handbook outlines steps for assessing the needs of the practice, selecting and product, and completing a successful implementation.
